How long has this been going on? Why do I never get an answer when I’m knocking at the door? When will I be loved? Does anybody really know what time it is?
We may not be able to answer these questions but we do have a few answers for your questions about the Class of 1974 50th Reunion!

Why didn't we send invitations by US mail?
By using email, we saved time and the cost of postage.
Where can we stay if we're from out of town?
We have room blocks set up at two hotels: Fairfield Inn and Hilton Garden Inn. Click here for more information. You’ll also find information for other local hotels on the home page.
Why do we have to pay a service fee on the registration site?
The service fee covers the cost of online payment processing and record keeping. We chose to manage registrations online because it helps us speed up the reservation process and keep accurate and up-to-date records of who has signed up to attend. It also allows us to offer an early bird discount as well as process late registrations efficiently.
Are spouses or other plus-ones invited to purchase a ticket for Saturday?
Yes! Please bring your significant other to the event. You will need to purchase a ticket for them. We’d love to meet them (if we haven’t already) and catch up with the ones we already know.
Can I wait until Saturday night and just pay at the door?
You can, but we don’t recommend it. There is a $25 late fee added to the $75 ticket price for anyone who registers after August 31.
What does business casual dress mean?
Wear something nicer than shorts or jeans. You don’t need a tie, jacket or dress – unless that’s your thing!
Is alcohol included in the event price?
No. A cash bar will be available.
Can we bring our own alcohol to the Saturday event?
Sorry, no. A cash bar will be available.
Is there assigned seating?
No. Just like the lunchroom at St Charles High, it’s open seating. You choose your table mates.
Will the Saturday night dinner be a buffet?
Yes. We have contracted with Inglenook Pantry to provide the buffet.
Can I request a gluten-free meal or make a special dietary request for Saturday night?
Sorry but we will hot be able to accommodate special dietary requests. You’ll likely be able to find something on the buffet that will meet your needs.
Can I come to the reunion dinner without attending other activities?
Yes! Please attend any and all events you can.
Can I just show up for the cocktail and social hour on Saturday without buying a ticket?
Sorry, no. The cost of the ticket covers everything involved in the evening such as the bartender, band, decorations, photographer and set up and clean up costs.
Will the music be so loud we won't be able to have a conversation in the room?
We decided to have the band start at 8:30, giving you more than three hours for conversation before they start. Even after they start playing, you should be able to hold a conversation in the back of the room without being disturbed by the music.
Do I have to tip bartenders and band members?
Do what you would normally do at an event or restaurant.
Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend after purchasing a ticket?
Yes, if you cancel 20 days or more before the event. Your refund should arrive a few weeks after the event. You can also choose to forego your refund and turn it into a donation to our class.
